Monsta Life Part 1 – Hope

Every day can be a Monsta Day. Every day, a Monsta wakes up knowing that, whatever occurs, whatever challenge awaits, everything is better than it would be without $Monsta and his or her fellow Monstas in the world. From the very start, a spring enlivens each step of a clawed foot, pearlescent fangs gleam in every beaming smile, come rain or shine, moon rockets or red rivers.
What is so special about $MONSTA & Monstas, to be able to lay claim to such exotic privilege, such envious powers of happiness, confidence and belonging? Could it be hope? Hope that finally and against all the odds, there exists a project founded upon integrity and economic reason, with a committed, engaged, creative community to match. Genuine pathfinders of globally decentralized finance, based on economic sustainability and resilience. That certainly sounds hope worthy.
Consider everything that is riding on and happening as a result of, the global economic transition we are all currently experiencing. Consider everything that is reliant upon the adoption of some form of sustainable and resilient decentralized finance. Nothing less than the future of freedom on Earth is ultimately at stake, given the power of communications technology today. Then, throw powerful, personal needs and aspirations into the overwhelming and urgent mix and you can bet there are flames of desperate hope in the hearts and minds of nearly everyone.

Red points out the danger of hope, which he fears, after Andy Dufresne talks of music being the source of keeping his alive within the terrible wall of Shawshank prison. Yet loss of all hope is equally dangerous, as evidenced by the sad fate of their friend Brooks, who tragically commits suicide upon his release after so long. Shawshank Redemption is without a doubt, one of the finest films ever made. It provides a fitting analogy for what we all face today. Within the walls and without, the world, with inflation, capital control and all their disastrous effects, is Shawshank and Crypto is Andy Dufresne’s tunnel through the wall.
Rather than turn our backs on hope, as Red’s fear urges him to do, we simply need to take much greater care when deciding upon what, our hopes should be founded. This is the key. Realism through reason, knowledge though understanding, empowerment through awareness and well placed commitment.
In the end, Red bets on his friend, based on the evidence of who and what Andy is. In return for that faith, Andy’s hope not only sustains Red, it blossoms within him, giving him the strength to cast off years of soul-shattering trauma and oppression, inflicted within the walls of Shawshank. As he leaves his past behind and sets out to find Andy, Red’s words are breathtakingly humble, beautiful and powerful…

Financial oppression via corruption, inflation and manipulation, in one form or another, has been with humanity alwas, traumatising us mercilessly. We have experienced this tragedy to vastly different degrees, over the many years, yet common to all of us is the deceit, the robbery, the injustice, the terrible effects of corruption and resource misallocation and ultimately, debt enslavement, to one degree or another, from birth to death.
We need hope to overcome this. To find a way to cope with the reality of it, to find and build the solutions, to begin the process of healing, to somehow forgive. We must fan the flames of hope so they are bright enough to be seen from space. Therefore, it is essential that we found our hope on something deserving of it. Monstas find the $Monsta protocol and community to be solid and worthy, experimental though it certainly is. Months of production data have bolstered this position and generated increasing levels of commitment, such as the level of community adoption of the recently deployed, Bake and Stake lockup reward feature.
As the global economy moves through its latest transition, so the crypto market continues moving through stages of it’s evolution. Upon solving the Byzantine General’s communications problem, the goal was always decentralization because anything less than enough decentralization would lead inevitably to total, endless tyranny. Decentralization is coming like a tsunami and it will arrive via truly decentralized bridging technology, rendering obsolete, the existing user and capital walled gardens of incumbent, inadequate networks and projects. Rational economics, efficiency and user experience will begin their ascendency, whilst empty promises, ponzi tokenomics, exit scams and parasitic models begin to atrophy and die off.
$MONSTA has a roadmap that will utilize decentralized bridging to become multi-network, at which point, the world will have a decentralized super-network with a sustainable, resilient, decentralized monetary policy, capable of supporting endless financial services that run resiliently across it. This is profound. I find I’m so excited, I can barely sit still or hold a thought in my head. This could change the world for good. I Hope.
